Affina Marine was appointed to Complete a Composite Sunbed for a 50mtr Boat in Antibes,France.The sunbed included storage lockers for the cushions that were to be used ontop.The hatches were sealed by way of a gutter and silicon seals,with a drain system for excess water to the deck. The hatches opened by gas structs.The teak deck was protected by way of composite feet and nylon pads that allowed air and water to drain.

The Ribbon Lamp was to date the hardest project given.

Its super light construction gave Affina difficult production issues to have the light remain in the profile designed.

THE LATEST WORKS COMPLETED FOR AFFINA WERE THE REMIX SCULPTURES FOR DESIGNER BRODIE NEILL.THE MULTI-MATERIALED PIECES WERE CNC CUT TO THE DESIGNERS FORM AND GLUED AND FAIRED WITH INTERNAL STRUCTURAL BARS .THE PARTS WERE FINISHED BY US WITH A SATIN TOPCOAT.

SIDELINE TABLE

The latest project completed by Affina was the production of the first of 4 pieces named the Sideline for Mr Michael Wolfson.The table was produced by a series of 3 moulds cnc cut.This was then engineered to the weight requirement from the client by using a composite of carbon plies and nomex honeycomb core.

The table was launched in Zurich for a company of art collectors and even viewed by Mr Brad Pitt himself.

We enjoyed this project immensely and look forward to more radical designs like this that complement and enhance the material to its full potential.

THE LATEST PROJECT COMPLETED FOR MR MICHAEL WOLFSON.

THE SIDELINE TABLE WAS PRODUCED THROUGH THREE CNC MOULDS AND CONSTRUCTED FROM A COMPOSITE OF CARBON AND NOMEX.THE PROTOTYPE SHOWN HERE HAS ENABLED US TO MAKE A COUPLE OF SMALL IMPROVEMENTS FOR A SERIES OF 10.
